where did the name DoctorGeek come from?I earned a doctorate from Carnegie-Mellon University. After years of helping college professors become savvy, competent, and creative computer users — who can design web sites, deliver effective PowerPoint presentations, deal with email overload, etc. — I founded DoctorGeek. A geek is a person who is interested in technology, especially computing and new media. The term geek usually makes non-geeks laugh. Laughing (chuckling, or at least smiling) about technology puts you on the road to the DoctorGeek's mission - to help people "lose the technology blues." ~SK |
